Medieval Day
Rooms 1, 2 and 3 enjoyed doing discovery activities on Medieval Day last Friday. We made crowns, princess hats, stained glass windows, knights helms, war banners, and built castles with lego and blocks. William's Dad, Craig, came and talked to us about what a common man would have worn when he went to war. Check out the photos below to see some of our great costumes and activities.

Perceptual Motor Programme
During Term 2 every Tuesday and Wednesday morning Room 1 and Room 2 are doing the perceptual motor programme (PMP or PUMP) which is a programme designed to help children with their fine motor and gross motor skills. We have some wonderful parent volunteers helping us to run groups through the different activities. Check out the photos below to see the great fun Room 2 had this morning.

Multi-coloured Mayhem Day
On Wednesday 2nd April the School Council held a Multi-coloured Mufti Day to raise awareness of Autism and to celebrate the differences of people with Autism. Students brought a gold coin donation which goes to Autism NZ.
The students in Room 2 wrote about their day. Below are a few of their recounts.
Georgia M.- We are having a charity for Autism. We are having a mufti day. We get to dress up in anything that you want. It has to be colourful and bright, it could be red or green. You had to dress up as colourful as you can make it. But you have to bring some money.
Blaze- Mrs Bowen was very funny and Amelia was very funny in her hat and her red nose. Mr Fitz's wig was very funny too.
Austin- I like Amelia's hat and her red nose.
